How Big Is A Gas Boiler?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A gas boiler is more commonly referred to as a condensing boiler. These kinds of boilers supply central heating by way of transporting hot water in radiators and under floor heating circuits. These boilers are highly efficient however they only give instant hot water if a hot water tap, shower, dishwasher or any other associated appliance is switched on, lessening the need for big hot water cylinders and cold water storage tanks.

These boilers are so efficient owing to the method of recycling and the abstracting of heat from the exhaust gases in which, in non condensing boilers, the heat exists in the exhaust gases is thrown off into the air and thus wasted.

Condensing boilers have now widely substituted formerly traditional models in providing to domestic central heating structures. As mentioned earlier, this is because they are quite small in comparison to other boilers and so not take up too much space.
