The early stages show no symptoms, that's why we have the smear test.

Honey, if you are fearful that you have ovarian cancer the best possible thing you can do is go see your doctor immediately.  The longer you delay the longer this disease has to progress...that is the worse case scenario.  The best case scenario is that you go and spend a few dollars for the doctor to say, "Girl, you are fine."  How much would that be worth to you?  Peace of mind is something that you can not put a value on.  Anytime you fear a life threatening disease the best thing you can do is find out that your fears were unfounded.  We, here on Blurtit,  can not give you that assurance.  All we could do is to give you some symptoms,  but I am sure you have already looked that up on the computer.  Don't put off knowing.  Not knowing does nothing for you but knowing (one way or the other) is certainly beneficial to you.  Worry never cured anything.  Go to you doctor, let him relieve your mind or begin treatment.  Either way, you win.

I had an ablasion surgery back in June...I was doing okay for a week then I started having this indescribable pain....in the lower left private area side...they (the OB) took be in and had an internal sonogram done...and sent me home...next day I had such bad pains that I called the Dr. And asked if the results came back from my sono...they hadn't read it yet...the next day I receive a call that the sono shows that I have 2 cysts (one on each ovary) and a small sack of fluid...they brought me into the Dr. Office and told me they needed to do a DNC, I told them that I already had one right before the ablasion surgery...then the Dr. Didn't know what to do so she sent me to the hospital for tests...cat scan etc.....8 hours later they couldn't find out the reason for my pain and sent me home with some pain killer...which they had injected into my IV before I went home...the pain was there for a few more day and then I had my follow-up to my surgery appointment with my OB and he indicated that sometimes after surgery like that there is fluid in that area...did an internal and said I didn't feel bloated and sent me on my way...I then went on vacation for a week...with a pain, but not as bad as before, but enough to let me know its there...so now it's been almost a month and I get a call from my PC that their concerned about a report and sono that my OB sent to them for my records and if they (the OB) had followed up with another sono and I told them no...My mom had stage 4 ovarian cancer and it came without warning 10 years ago...she is now in remission...I assumed my OB would look back at my history...so as I am writing this my PC is scheduling a sono asap...to see if the fluid is still there, base on my mom's history...I also indicated to them that I have had weight lost, and I'm not even trying, but I assumed it was because I got cleaned out after surgery and that's why I was losing weight...so my question is do you think I should be concerned...P.S. I have been having PMS symptoms but no period and I was told that would happen after surgery..cause my body doesn't know if I'm going to have periods or not...so I have slight bloating etc....
