All in all, perfume is a recipe to be followed and made, a particular formula, just like a cookery book and its prescribed recipes.  It is made up of vegetable oils, odours of certain animals and chemical additives (which are the cheapest ingredients).  But these are not the only ingredients.  Some of the most expensive perfumes can even contain as many as two hundred ingredients.

One of the main reasons why perfumes are worn by women on their throats and their wrists is the fact that the heat generated from the throbbing at these pulse points actually accentuate the smell of the perfume.

The above-mentioned ingredients are blended together but the blending process is not an easy or usual task, which could be accomplished by anyone and everyone.  It requires great skill and flair and is only done by specific perfumers, who take a very long time in learning this art.
