You can feed your infant solid foods when he or she is three or four months old. It is the right time for the infant to start eating something other than formula milk powder or breast milk. At the age of three or four months, the baby starts eating more than the usual amount of food which it normally eats and begins to awaken more often at night than before.

When the infant is three or four months old, the mother of the infant begins to think that it is the right age for the mother to introduce the baby to solid food. This is also the age when the baby experiences a sudden spurt in its growth. It is normal for the baby to awaken at night and cluster feed, that is begin to eat non-stop just like he or she did when he or she was a newborn baby.
