Make sure his tongue and the inside of his mouth is clean.[no white residue]he may have thrush. Thrush is a yeast infection in the mouth and can cause bad breath. if everything is clear and he has no teeth you could wipe off his gums and tongue with a warm wash cloth and if he has teeth you could start brushing his teeth.[many stores carry special toothbrushes and toothpaste for babies]

Usually when babies are sick they have bad breath. After your baby drinks milk, you should wipe their tongues, it could be old milk. It could also be something the baby inherited from its father or mother. If none of these is the case you should probably talk to a doctor.
