    You want to know about the transmission of Herpes Simplex Virus or HSV. There are different ways in which this virus is transmitted from one person to another. It is important to notice that one of the biggest ways of transmission of Herpes Simplex Virus is through the skin contact with an infected person of Herpes Simplex Virus.

    It is generally transmitted from skin contact but the important point to keep in mind is that it usually does not transmit by objects which are inanimate. For example it usually does not transmit through towels, toilet seats, soaps etc. although there is always a possibility of its transmission through these objects from one person to another. It is important to know that generally it is not transmitted by these objects but there is a chance that it can be transmitted through those objects. While the studies have shown the results that in this case, the transmission of Herpes Virus is comparatively very low.

    In cases of mucus membrane areas or the areas which are somehow attached with mucus areas slight rubbing is sufficient to active the Herpes Virus that is the reason it usually happen in mucus membrane areas or the areas attached with it like corners of the lips.
