How Safe Would It Be To Download Limewire, To My Brand New Laptop?

You will not get viruses from limewire itself, but you must be careful of what you download from there because some of those do have viruses.

I use Limewire (the free version, had Pro, was not worth it) on my fairly new laptop (about 4 months old) and never had a single problem with it.  But I have used limewire a lot and learned what to look for to avoid viruses.  Such things as an audio file of Anna Godda Da Vida, and is only 960K in size, or a 2Mbyte version of Vista... You KNOW those files will not contain what they claim.

I will not let my kid use limewire, because such filesharing services are loaded with porn.  He wants something downloaded, I do it for him.

I have never allowed my children to download limewire on my laptop because they had it on my pc and I have had many problems with getting viruses from it until I finally deleted it.  If I were you, I would not download it.

Well don't let the cops find out about it cuz the will charge u a large sum of mony if they catch u like around $2000 for me. It all depends on how much u download
