This Question Needs Answering:
How Old Are Chickens When They Begin To Lay? They Are Isa Browns.
We have 6 Isa browns that are 20 weeks old. They are beginning to display strange behaviour (squatting and stamping of feet). We are new to chickens are are not sure what to expect from them. Is this behaviour typical and are we expecting them to lay too soon?

Between 4 and 6 months old they should start to lay eggs. Being that you are new with chickens. You should also know that when the weather gets cold they slow down on their egg production. Peace
