You take them to see their veterinarian so they can examine your cat and speak to you about what is concerning you. Generally a change in behavior, eating or drinking habits, lethargy, fever, urination or bowel movements, injury/wounds, drooling, or of course it can be very obvious it can indicate your pet is ill and you should see your vet.
