How Can You Tell If You Have Some Type Of Mental Problem?

My mom is paranoid she thinks that we do things with the remote control to control her cell phone that she thinks someone listens to her cell phone conversations that messages can be sent to the tv with a cell phone she thinks there's cameras around the house and that maybe our lives are being view on the Internet. She says she can hear everything so clearly and loudly when shes far away or that she can hear peoples conversations, it seams like shes loosing a grip on reality, when she a person that doesn't believe in ghost.
