What Is Infrared Waves?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Infrared waves are categorized as electromagnetic waves. These waves are composed of two fields that are electric and magnetic fields. These fields are perpendicular to each other and also perpendicular to the propagation of the waves. The wavelength of the infrared waves is longer than visible light. The energy of the infrared waves is less than red light, so they are called infrared waves. The frequency of these rays is less than red light because their wavelength is greater than red rays.
