        A landlord is obligated by law to follow the terms of a rental agreement.  If there isn't a written lease then it's most likely a month to month agreement and
        he is required to give 30 or 60 days notice to end the agreement.

        Yes, if the landlord is the owner, and I believe, if they want to put a manager in the building, they can do it that way too. You can check with the landlord/tenant board and talk to them about this, I am sorry that this is happening to you. Good luck to you.
