    The word wireless explains the function of wireless router. The wireless router and wired router are same in working but an extra wireless network feature is available in wireless router. In wireless router you can connect your computer to router using wireless network but for that you require a wireless network card in your computer. In wireless router there are some Ethernet ports as well as wireless port. Wireless router basically used when you require LAN or internet connection without any wire connection to your computer for mobility. There are different models and make of wireless routers and main feature on which router selected is the wireless network range in router. Simply if you want to access your LAN or internet any were in your home or company or premises you have to connect the respective to the router and configure it in router. Now you have to configure your wireless LAN card with router and now you can access the respective connection on your computer without any wire connection.
