Can Guinea Pigs Eat Coconut?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I would not feed your guinea pig coconut--this is not a normal part of a guinea pig's diet.  Fresh timothy hay should be available at all times.  Your guinea pig should be fed a high quality pelleted diet.  Vitamin C supplements need to be given--some foods will contain enough.  Water should be available at all times.  Fruits, vegetables, and treats should comprise no more than 10% of the guinea pigs diet.  Many guinea pigs enjoy oranges, tomatos, and lettuce.
