Why Are You Hungry When You're Bored?

It is not that you are hungry, you are looking for something to do. Eating is generally an easy thing to do that keeps you occupied. Some people also eat when they are frustrated or stressed as it can take your mind off of whatever it is that is bothering you.

I'd guess you have nothing better to do. You just stare into space, and think to yourself, Should I eat that piece of pie that I'll regret doing in the morning? For me, when I'm stressed I eat. When I am way super mega bored, I eat. But of course in the morning I work out all the junk food in me, wishing I didn't take out that bag of chips. But yeah. Eating takes away your extra time when your bored.

When a person is bored, he think of something he can do or something he can put his mind to ( to work or do anything he might think). Thinking also use up some of our energies. Maybe because of this, why we feel hungry. As if, we have undergone an enormous activity like basketball ^^, we're hungry after such activity ^6
