My Mother Was Given A Pet Frog. She Doesn't Know What Kind Of Frog It Is Except That It Was Purchased From A Chinese Market Where These Frogs Are Raised As Food. What Do They Eat?

My mother did not initially want to keep the frog, but when she considered the frog's possible fate (on a dinner plate), she decided to keep it as a pet. She called me in a panic because she doesn't know this frog's dietary/environmental needs. This is how the frog was described to me: Smooth, dark green skin; fits on her open hand, so about 6" in length; whitish belly; small, pale, yellowish flecks on the body.
