How Did The First Episode Of Family Guy In Season One Differ From The Pilot Episode?
Answers
The first episode of season one of Family Guy is entitled 'Death Has a Shadow', and contained many changes from the pilot episode, such as the colour of the characters' hair and clothes. This episode featured a swear word being cut out by the audience, whereas in the pilot the swear word could actually be heard.
Some characters had different names, such as the character Tom Tucker, who was originally named Mike Tucker, and some characters had different voices.
Changes to the plot were also made, such as the part where the character Peter loses his job. In this episode, Loi, Peter's wife, does not know that he has lost his job, whereas in the pilot episode she already knows.
The first episode aired on FOX on 31st January 1999.
