Tell Me Your Thoughts. How Do You Know When You Are Truly In Love?

When you realize you are in love it's a lot like the feeling you get when you win something good. It's such a pleasant surprise.... I'm in love with my boyfriend and have been for almost two years. It is a beautiful feeling. I still get excited when I see him... I forget how old I am... It really doesn't matter when you are in love...I feel like smiling even when no one is there... He is always in my thoughts... When I'm not with him I feel like "there's something missing" and he feels the same way. We enjoy doing everything a lot more when we do it together. We are best friends that see ourselves together today, tomorrow and for a very long time. Being in love is rejuvenating, exciting, passionate and heartwarming.

Everyone experiences love in different ways. I fall in love really easily (much to my own dismay) and I think my main symptom is constantly thinking about the object of my affections! Real true love is not infatuation though, it is deeper and comes along a bit later in the relationship. I know I'm 'in love' with someone when I think they're good-looking but I know they actually aren't! I know I love someone when I don't mind any of the things which normally put you off people. BUT beware when the love fades away and you start to find that the very things you first thought were cute and loveable now seem to be highly irritating or repugnant!
