A Casio TK 2300 cash register is an electronic cash register. All electronic cash registers comprise a keyboard, a memory, a first interface circuit, a second interface unit and a central processing unit.
The keys on the keyboard are capable of performing several functions. There are three types of keys, namely entry keys, function keys and department keys. The cashier memory packs are mechanically, electrically and disconnectably coupled with the first interface circuit. The terminal memory packs are mechanically and electrically coupled with the second interface circuit.
The central processing unit (which is abbreviated as CPU) of the Casio TK 2300 cash register is connected to all the other hardware. There is a function on these cash registers by which a user can easily clear the sales information, merely by pressing the relevant keys.
