There is indeed such a thing as stubborn fats and many people will be able to identify with it! It is basically weight which refuses to budge no matter how much exercise you do. It affects both sexes equally and generally it is thought that the fat does not have a high enough ratio of beta-receptors as it does alpha-receptors. This means that it does not respond well to fat burning stimulation. Stubborn fat also does not have a good blood flow circulation which means that the fat is a lot harder to get rid of due to the fact that it is slower to metabolise.
Many women in particular complain of having stubborn fat on their thighs, their buttocks and they stomachs. It can be a complete nightmare and many people consider liposuction in order to remove it. There are other ways to remove it however but the results generally take a lot longer to achieve than liposuction. It is all down to personal preference how you choose to treat the problem.
