It all depends on how much importance you give to a fridge. People used to live without it before it was invented. But in today's modern world you might not be able to survive without a fridge for over a week as it stores your monthly or weekly groceries, keeps your milk fresh, keeps the cheese and butter from wastage.

Depends on how much money you have and how far from town you live. If you have millions to blow you could eat out or order in every time you want to eat and if you live in town you could just go to the store to get what ever it was you wanted.
