    Company history
    Company culture
    The market in which the company operates
    Competitor information

    There are clear links between a successful induction programme and employee inclusion. Bodies such as CIPD offer useful information on creating a successful induction.

    Many companies now offer online induction as a way of getting as many people as possible through induction programmes. The use of online and elearning for induction programmes also allows companies to deploy them across multiple locations to many employees relatively easily.

    The use of induction is not just useful for new employees. It can be used for employees returning from maternity or long term leave. Induction is also successful for employees that are moving teams or departments within a business.
