Well you must provide some statistics first proving that arranged marriage is not successful, i would like to mention some points regarding arrange marriage for your convenience.
1) Arranged family marriages help to keep family bonding very tight.
2) In Laws acceptability is very high as both families knows each other very well.
3) Arranged marriages are usually based on trust of two families that may or may not result in the trust of two persons getting married.
4) Arranged marriages sometime do not succeed because of less interaction between couples before marriage.

Irrespective of arranged or love marriage, success depends on understanding between the couple. There are numerous couple who are happy when there is arranged. In arranged marriage, the boy and the girl in most do not know each other.
