My Daschund Dog Never Had Puppies, Is It Normal For Her To Have Milk On Her Nipple? And What Does That Mean?

I also have a dachshund and i just had to have her fixed a year ago (age 5) because she was having an extra long heat cycle. I explained to the vet that this was the first time that it has happened, then was telling her about her past heat cycles to see if there was a pattern I was missing. I explained that she would have some milky discharge from her nipples and that she even found a litter of kittens that she nursed.  she asked me if she was ever pregnant and I told her no.  she explained that every time she would have milk in her glands that it was a false pregnancy and that is probably what has lead to the heavy bleeding.  she had around 6 false pregnancies and i was never aware of it till a year ago.  I had to have her spayed to save her life.  I do suggest that you take her to the vet and have her checked out  i hope my statement helped you out and best of luck to you and your doxie
