The four major cities in Canada are Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Ottawa in that order. Although Ottawa is the capital city, but its rank among the major cities is only 4th.

I would like to correct some of the info above. Toronto is the biggest city and economic centre of Canada. It's several hundred kilometres from the Atlantic.
Ottawa is a very cold capital, with temperate summers and wonderful museums.
Vancouver is a beautiful city, on the Pacific Ocean with close proximity to beautiful mountains.
Calgary, in Alberta is a beautiful city bounded by mountains and prairies.
Montreal, in Quebec, is famous for it's nightlife and culture.
