What Are The Numbers On An Architect Scale?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

On my architect's scale, most of the numbers are feet. My scale has a section on one side of zero where the marks are close enough together to represent inches. Each side of my six-sided scale represents a different scale factor, 3/4" = 1 ft, for example.

Your mileage may vary if you are somewhere that metric units are in use.
