This book revolves around two main characters. One is Eric Marquand and the other is Tamara Dey. Now the latter has always lived by the laws of DPI scientists. She followed their every rule while they brought her up as bait for all the immortal creatures of the night.

And indeed she was wanted. Eric Marquand knew she was the chosen one who had to be his life mate. But every thing this girl had been taught and learned, her whole life had been one big lie. And only Eric spoke the truth.

No doubt Tamara always had fear sneak on her spine at the presence of Eric but something inside her made her realize that this is how it should be.
