I've had several Epidural Shots, which are Steroid Injections. Cortisone shots are also steroid injections. I chose the Epidural shots.
I want you to remember that everyone is different, but I'm going to tell you about my experience.
With my first Epidural Shot, I was only pain-free for a few days. For you, it may last longer.
3 weeks later... Another Epidural shot and the same thing happened... Pain free for just a few days. Again, it may last WAY longer for you.
3 weeks later I had 4 shots at one time and was pain free for a little over a week! Even though it was only a week it sure felt good to get a break! Once again, IF you have to come this far, it may last MUCH longer.
3 weeks later, on August 10th... After one week I am pain free again! It might work longer this time, but even if it's only a week, I'm so thankful to get another pain "vacation". :)
