How Do You Pronounce Gimlet?

There are some rules to pronounce words. Some words which seem easy to pronounce sometimes carry a different tone. This is where we create blunder and it is no pleasure to cultivated ears. The word 'gimlet' has a single small break between the words gim and let. The first word gim is pronounced as Gim; the 'G' is pronounced as in 'go'. The words IM are pronounced as the 'im' in 'trim'.
The latter part let is easy to pronounce. The word 'let' is not pronounced as in 'net' but it is pronounced as 'let' in the word 'triplet'. This part is not accented.
