    Colonoscopy is a test in which your colon is screened for abnormalities. Your entire rectum and colon will be visualized through colonoscope. Preparation is necessary to conduct such test. Your colon should be clean and free from stool and fluids which can create hinderance. Preparations are,

    - stop taking iron pills
    - take laxatives given by your doctor.
    - avoid eating solid foods
    -Fasting is sometimes prescribed.
    - Eat soft foods.
