I may be wrong but I suspect your answer was intended for the question by Queppa about 2010 being the last year on Earth and not this one ?
Amazingly, because all the stars are at different distances from Earth, we are actually seeing different moments in time at the same time (if that makes any kind of sense ?!, since the light from these stars will have taken various lengths of time to reach us.
