How Are Mobile Phones Manufactured?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Because of huge demand of mobile phones, the manufacturing process has become quite complex. But i will try to be as simple as possible:

1-The different components of a cell phone like covers, keypads, memory chips etc  are brought from different sources and stored by the manufacturer.
2-Then they are gathered at one place.
3-The circuit board is made from the electronic components  and is attached to the covering by heated paste.
4-Then these circuits are placed in a bay where a robot arm configures there low level settings.
    5-Many test are performed.
6-At this stage the camera (if any) and lcd are placed, mostly through hands.
7-Then the front and back covers are added.
8-The last step in the production is to give each phone an id no or IMEI number.
9-Finally the newly produced phone is tested in many ways and shipped to customers.
