Who Was Catherine Bach?

Catherine Bach is an American actress who is best known for role as Daisy Duke on the television series 'The Dukes of Hazzard'. She was born on March 1, 1954 in Warren, Ohio in the United States.

'The Dukes of Hazzard' was a popular television series that aired from 1979 until 1985. Catherin Bach played the role of Daisy Duke, who was the bombshell, kissing cousin of Bo and Luke Duke. On the show, she was always dressed really sexy with really short shorts. Her look became so popular that a common word for short shorts is 'Daisy Duke Shorts'.

She also appeared in another television series called 'African Skies' from 1993 until 1995. In this series, Catherine Bach's role was that of a wildlife rancher.

Catherine Bach is not doing much in acting now. When the movie version of the 'Dukes of Hazzard' premiered in 2006, she was not even considered for the role of Daisy Duke. The new Daisy Duke in the movie was Jessica Simpson. However, Catherine Bach will always be known as the original Daisy Duke.
