What Is An ABA Therapist?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The term ABA stands for 'applied behaviour analysis' and as you are using the word in the context of a therapist, you are talking about a person who is healing somebody with the use of the analysis of his behaviour and then find out which theory should be applied on him.

But if we simply define the term, it is the maintenance and use of the skill to make somebody learn better. The term is primarily used for the children who have some learning disability and it happens because of the typical environment in which they live. The job of a therapist includes understanding of the behaviour of the kid and then suggests some ways with which the kid can improve.
