    What Would Your Response Be, Were You To Find Out Someone You Love Is Slowly Going Blind?

    We have been married 17yrs and my husband is slowly going blind, there have been low key hints, like I realized during the day he can't see inside our home,or that he needs the light even when the sun comes through the windows,and he recently stopped driving to work at night, he's been to Dr. But won't say anything, I need feedback here as to what to do.

    Wow it's got to be hard for him to deal with that and the fact that he wont say anything about the doctor visits is a clue that he has got to be worried about your reaction.As hard as it may be you need to confront him and have a talk about whats going on because you cant ignore your problems they will still be there and it sounds like it is getting worse.You need to let him know you will be by his side no matter what and you'll get through it ,it will be hard but he will adjust and with your support you can get through the hard times.I hope the advice helped a little.

      That's hard to say , but if its a person that I love and am spending my life with I would try to get them to see a doctor.To at least find out if there was anything could be done medically to stop it or correct it. Out side of that I would try to be supportive and understanding to there feelings and needs.
