How Many Surahs Are In The Quran?

    Quran is the holy book of Muslims' religion Islam. Muslims' believe that Quran delivers last message from GOD to Humanity after Torah, David's Psalms and Bible.
    Quran has 114 Surahs, Apart from these 86 are Maki(Revealed in Makkah) and 28 are Madni(Revealed in Madina). Both Makkah and Madina are cities of Present day Saudia Arabia. Quran has 6666 Verses and 323760 words.
    The Qur'an also mentions the stories of many of the people and events mentioned in Torah, and Bible and devotional literature (Apocrypha, Midrash). Well-known religious characters such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and John the Baptist are mentioned in the Qur'an as Prophets of Islam.
