How Can I Get My Cat To Like Me Better?

just because your cat ignores you doesn't mean she hates you.  cats tend to be that way - it is their nature to be aloof.  goes slow and easy with her, be gentle and let her come to you.  buy some special cat treats like pounce, and shake the container they come in and call her,  if i call my kitty and say 'treat' she goes to the cabinet where i keep the treats.  also try catnip, or something to attract her.

I have found that grooming my cat creates a great bond.  With the proper brush, my cat will beg for a "treatment" as soon as he sees the brush he is in my lap and will let me brush him for as long as I care to.  This also helps him feel better and removes a lot of extra hair.  Also, I find if I bite him gently on his neck, like a mother does her kittens, he will think of you as his mother.  This has worked with every cat who has owned me.
