What Is The Climate In Croatia?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Croatia is located in central Europe, bordering with Slovenia, Bosnia, Hungary, and Serbia and Montenegro. The coastline is lapped by the shores of the Adriatic, which stretches opposite to Italy's boot.

The climate is continental; hot, dry summers are typical with occasional cloudy intervals. The climate cools in the winter bringing milder temperatures and increased rainfall.

Croatia is a popular holiday destination, offering the same climate as neighbours such as Italy and nearby Greece - but providing a different historical and cultural experience.

The weather there is quite hot, good for sun-bathing or having a picnic at the beach. Rainfall is at a average level.
