    Can We Get Married With A B1/B2 Type Visa Or Does It Have To Be A K1 Visa?

    My Fiance has a B1/B2 visa and we want to know if we can get married with just that visa type or if we have to get a K1/Fiancee Visa as well. We just want to know what is the most efficient way of getting married. I am American, he isn't.

    If you can get him to stand still in front of a judge for 5 minutes then you can marry him regardless of his visa type. Marriage laws are state laws, the Feds have no control over this.
