The lymph nodes are small swellings present in different areas of body. They are part of lymphatic system and contain lymph. When ever they swell, it means there is infection. The swollen lymph nodes in the neck usually indicate infection in throat, ears and in buccal cavity. The swollen lymph node can be due to lymphoma but it has some more symptoms. I advise you to visit a doctor and get proper diagnosis and treatment.
