MBA is a very generic degree and is never recommended if you do not have professional experience to support it. Also, it is a very expensive degree. It is recommended to gain a few years experience before opting for an MBA degree, most of the class work would make sense to someone who has had a vary prolific experience in actual work place and brings something to the class room in order to contribute to the ongoing discussions and themes. Besides, it's for the over privileged classes who have money to burn and connections necessary to help them gain mileage in professional endeavors. It is highly recommended however if you are currently working somewhere and where the degree can help you in terms of your growth prospects. The age we live in is the age of specialization. It is recommended for people to go for technical diplomas and skill acquisition , focusing on personal development instead of going for vague degrees like MBA.
