What's The Best Treat You Have Ever Got In Halloween?

Freezie pops(they were unfrozen so when we got home we had to freeze them), and mini-bags of Doritos, or other good kinds of chips

When I was a kid, we always went trick-or-treating in our neighbourhood.  There was a family nearby who owned a plant nursery/greenhouse.  They were the "rich" people of the neighbourhood.  Every Halloween they fixed hot dogs and homemade chili and apple cider for every trick-or-treater!  These days you probably can't do that type of thing for fear of getting in trouble with the Health Department.

I liked it when I received a 5-lb candy bar for Halloween. I got it many years ago and I still have it!!! So the moral is, give them something big and they will never come to your house again because they are still eating the candy from the year before. Or they will loose all their teeth due to the candy and cannot eat your candy ! :)

When everyone else was doling out small peanut butter kisses (taffy) or jolly rachers or these teeny little tootsie-rolls, there was a neighbor who gave each and every  wide-eyed trick-or-treater a full sized (like 6 oz.) Hershey milk chocolate candy bar.  Every year. What heaven on earth with a cold glass of milk!  Hey - children only get to be small and trick-or-treat and enjoy the particular joys of childhood for a very short time.  It delights me to be able to also do this every year for the treaters in my neighborhood.  And there are my neighbors who just had a little one 3 years ago.  The first year she got pumpkin and sweet yams babyfood jars and a halloween pacifier and rattle, next year, a squishy toy that was a pumpkin, this year, she will get a wind up pumpkin that makes fun sounds and lights up when she presses different buttons... I am delighted in the joy of children at Halloween and all the other simple pleasures. :)

My favorite candy to get on Halloween was definetly those suckers that were haft strawberry or grape and then the other haft was a white skull.  They were so cool looking but also delicious.  Most people don't pass them out though.

I would have to go with M&Ms.... U know those little bags that you get? Not the mini ones but the next size up. Either that or Whole hershey bars. =D

Every year my mom will pass out a goodie bag filled with mixed candies and the miniature tootsie pops that come in different flavors and a rice krispie treat. She will go to the local Culver's and get a donation of "free kid cone" coupons to throw in. Along with a few halloween non-treat knick knacks and a toothbrush and toothpaste (the travel sizes) -- since she is a dental assistant. But the holidays are her favorite times through the year. One year she gave away her collection of beanie babies, to the little ones who were really too small to eat candy.

I dont know what my best one was, but i know the funniest one would have to be a spoonful of chunky peanut butter... The guy just threw it in my bag..it was hilarious

Little caramel covered apples, from a couple down the street. Years ago. But you can get them now in packages. Safety wrapped and all. Not as good as homemade though.
