How Do I Find Out If I Have A Dvd Writer On My Computer?

    On a Windows operating system, normally you can identify what type of writer you have by looking at the drive. If it is a CD-RW drive, you will find the word CD-RW or CD-R or the phrase Compact Disk Re-writable written on the front of the drive. If it is a DVD writer you will find DVD-RW or DVD-R or DVD+RW written in front of the drive. If you can’t see any thing by looking at the drive then just right click on My Computer and click on properties. Then go to Hardware tab and select the Device Manager tab. From there you will be able to know what type of drive you have. For more details check out the following site
