Can I Give My Dog Asprin For Arthritis?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Once your vet has carefully calculated by the problem (you should never diagnose your own dog definitively), the need, the medical history and any issues and the dosage by weight and all other necessary information something like that may sometimes be prescribed by a veterinarian for things like arthritis. HOWEVER, you MUST consult your vet as things like that are extremely toxic to our pets and you could kill them. Even after a vet has done all that your dog may still react to the dosage and you need to watch carefully for signs of toxicity or liver/kidney failure and get your dog in right away. Much of the time this can be done over the phone (provided they have the necessary information) so call them.
