My Mother's Ex Husband Deeded His House Over To Her Name. They Are Residing In The House Together. Does Anyone Owe Gift Tax? If So, Who?

At this moment in time I don't think anyone owes 'Gift Tax'. This only may come about if your Mother's Ex husband should unfortunately die. It will depend on how long prior to his death the property was gifted over. After a certain number of years (unsure in your State, but usually 7 years) then Tax Free!
