Tenants lease expires, wants to stay in space for another month or two, how much rent can Landlord require from Tenant to remain in space?

Unfortunately, the landlord can charge whatever he/she wishes. Once the lease is over, you no longer have an agreement. The lease is to guarantee that you will pay that amount as well as the landlord agrees not to raise the rent during that time. After that point, you have to just pray that the landlord if fair and just.
