    Luton is a Unitary Borough; it lies in the East of England region. The ceremonial county of Luton is Bedfordshire. Luton is considered as a large town it is also the local government district in England. Luton lies just 50 Km to the North of London. Currently it comes under the East of England region; previously it came under the region of South East England. In the year 2004 the town Luton was voted as the crappiest town in the whole of United Kingdom. This vote was done in a book by the name of Crap Towns II; this book was edited by Sam Jordison and Dan Kieran. Before Luton, Kingston upon Hull was voted as the crappiest town in the whole of United Kingdom
