    How Do I Unlock The Stereo In A 2001 Gmc Jimmy? Bose Stereo System! Took Out The Fuse AND IT LOCKED THE STEREO!!

    I own a GMC JIMMY SLE with a Bose stereo system from the factory. They say I have to take it to the dealer to get it to unlock. I think it's pretty messed up to have to go pay to unlock it when all I did was remove the fuse to check to see if it was good because the rear speakers were not playing!!!

    You need to punch in the code. If you don't know it you can go to a g.m. Dealer with your registration and drivers licence to prove you are the owner. They should be able to look it up on their computer. If the stereo has been replaced you will need to take it out and bring it with you.
