She has been like this for the past 24 hours that I know of. We were away for 2 days at a wedding and come home to this poor puppy who is very sick. Please help me figure out what this could be.

Puppies eat and chew on everything. It could be that she ate something, and it is obstructing the bowels or even cutting them. I strongly suggest that you get her to the vet, and have it checked out, as it could be life threatening. Hope this helps, good luck.

Your puppy needs to be examined by a veterinarian. There are many things that can cause lethargy and bloody diarrhea. Often we do not find an exact cause and treat the puppy symptomatically.
Stress can lead to colitis (inflammation/irritation) of the colon. After being in the kennel or change in the environment can cause bloody diarrhea.
Parvovirus is another disease that I am always concerned about in a young dog who breaks with bloody diarrhea. If your puppy has been fully vaccinated with all his puppy series this is unlikely. Parvo is a serious disease that attacks the lining of the intestines and allows bacteria to leave the gut and get into the rest of the body. It is very serious and can be fatal.
Dietary indiscretion is a common cause of gastroenteritis. Foreign body obstruction usually causes vomiting and less often bloody diarrhea but in a young dog always needs to be ruled out.
Puppies get dehydrated very quickly and this makes them feel worse. She may need fluid therapy-either subcutaneously (under the skin) or intravenously. Medication may be needed to reduce inflammation and correct any bacterial overgrowths in the intestines.
