You would probably be farther ahead trying to find out where the fuel in your area was refined and where that refinery gets its oil. Most areas are very limited to the refineries which serve them. I once lived in a town that all the stations were supplied by Texaco which got all of its oil locally. Of course there were many wells in this locale and as I remember it there's not alot of oil and gas activity real close to Flagstaff. Maverik at one time had two of its own refineries which they no longer operate and on that premise it's a good bet they buy their petroleum products like most others, based on availability and price.

Believe it or not, its possible some companies do not KNOW where their oil originated.  They buy from refineries, the refineries buy from whom ever can supply them the fastest, cheapest, and with regularity.  It's not as simple as some emails would have you think.  All oil, whether from here or abroad, is sold to the highest bidder.  So, trying to buy 'American' when American companies are trying to make the best buck isn't practical.  Maybe someday an oil company will decide not to go only by profits but have some sense of responsibility toward our citizens and sell locally at a reasonable rate, but I won't be holding my breath.  I personally think legislation is the only way this is going to happen, but as long as the politcos are in the pockets of the petroleum industry, we'll have a very long wait.

Try the terory that the politcos are in the pockets of the environmentalist, I can't figure out where they get their money but I'd venture to guess that they are making it form the high price of crude. "Legisslation is the only way this is going to happen." Wrong try not spending money, ie taking the profits away from the companies. This will cause the necessary change a lot faster. Alas the greedy, lazy American consumer will not do that. Think $4+ a gallon is too expensive? Try over $10 a gallon that people in England pay. The tech has existed since WWII to liquify coal and can be done for $50 a barrel, and America has lots of coal. Why aren't we doing it? Because the environmentalist say it pollutes too much. Wrong again liquid coal is not any different than refining crude oil. So does the government do what is best for the people or does it do what the special intrest groups ie the environmentalist want?

Here are some large companies that DO NOT import Middle Eastern oil: They may get it from other places that are at least friendly to America since the tree huggers do not let us drill for known reserves here in America.
        Sunoco................ 0 barrels
        Conoco................ 0 barrels
        Sinclair................ 0 barrels
        BP/Phillips.......... 0 barrels

I am a fuel driver for a different company but load at the same refineries as Maverick here in the Maverick area. They include Maverick, Holly, Silver Eagle, Flying J, Chevron, Sinclair/Maverick. All of the crude is brought into the Maverick Valley is from eastern Utah or Wyoming. Unless a gas station requests a certain brand, then their fuel supplier will deliver low rack (refinery with the lowest price of the day). As for NM, I am almost certain that they are far enough away from the coast that it would not be cost effective to haul in foreign oil products. Instead, they would more likely purchase from nearby refineries which process local crude. Foreign oil is used mainly used in coastline states or states that are near a coast.
You might talk to the manager of a store and ask which refineries these use. Then research online where these refineries get their crude.
